Hold me down
This morning didn't turn out how I planned.
Alarms didn't go off, kids didn't wake up, and so at 8:15 when I woke up in a panic thinking that it must be late, Tyler started throwing a fit. She hates to be late, but this is something that has only started here in Sweden.
I had to put her in a bear hold because she was kicking the walls and thrashing. I told her the standard things. Then we breathed together until she was calm enough to get ready. She said she didn't want to calm down, but I told her she could and needed to so she wouldn't be even more late for school.
While she was still fussing, Helena asked her if she would walk Linnea to school, and then Tyler was completely calm.
I decided to sleep a little longer; I wasn't feeling very well. Inside my closet, there are no windows, so it is completely dark when I close the door. That's why I never wake up thinking it's late because of the daylight outside, and part of the reason I sleep so soundly.
Now it's 11, and I am going to have to rush. Ah well, as long as I make my 2nd doctor appointment at 2 pm, I think everything else will be fine.
