bicycle
We never knew ye
Posted September 27th, 2008 by carinaIf you know me well, you know that I fall down stairs a lot.
As Amie pointed out, I am expanding my area of clumsiness to include bicycle riding as well as stairs.
But I was really being very tough about the whole thing, even though my knees were bleeding and I was bruised pretty badly. And then I saw my iPod was ruined as I was sitting in the lobby of Social Services. Then I sat there and cried and felt like an idiot.
The screen for the iPod is cracked. Oh, iPod, we hardly knew ye.
Up ahead, we saw such a crash
Posted September 26th, 2008 by carinaI had an appointment this morning with Social Services for assistance until I get a full month's paycheck. I took my bike, and along the way I had a clumsy moment.
I knew what was going to happen before it did.
I crashed into the fence and banged up the bike and me pretty good.
I held in the tears until I got to the Social Services office and saw that my iPod was broken. It was the last straw.
Bicycle
Posted August 29th, 2008 by carinaJust after the underpass to the shopping center, this bike has been sitting for about two weeks.
I thought about taking it until I saw the rust everywhere on the bike and that the seat was ripped.
Money
Posted August 24th, 2008 by carinaI am so tired of going to the store when I don't have hardly a cent to spend right now. Tyler doesn't understand, and keeps asking for things. I get tired of saying no, and I get tired of feeling awful when I buy things we need because we hardly have any money left, and I worry we will run out any minute.
I know that I'm going to get a job, it's just getting there. I am impatient and worried.
And I really, really want a bike. I'm thinking about charging it. It would be nice if the kids and I could all go biking to places we need to go together once Micke is back at work (he's on vacation) and I haven't found a job.
