My bicycle

My bicycle is in Arlöv, and lately I've been thinking about riding it to work. My nerves might be a little shot just because I hate riding my bike on the street, but so many people do it here, I think drivers are more aware of cyclists.

The problem is that I would have to carry my bicycle up and down 5 flights of stairs each day if I wanted to guarantee no one takes it. I could lock it outside, but I'm afraid someone might steal it anyway.

The biggest question is how to get the bike back from Arlöv. It won't fit in anyone's car that I know.

So I need to ride it into Malmö. I don't know my way around the area I live in just yet and it's a good ride from Arlöv so I need to figure out my route.

Up ahead, we saw such a crash

I had an appointment this morning with Social Services for assistance until I get a full month's paycheck. I took my bike, and along the way I had a clumsy moment.

I knew what was going to happen before it did.

I crashed into the fence and banged up the bike and me pretty good.

I held in the tears until I got to the Social Services office and saw that my iPod was broken. It was the last straw.

Dinner with Jesper

Jesper is an awesome chef. He does it for a living. Last night after the doctors determined that Simon (Jesper and Pernilla's son) had not broken his arm when Michaela (Jesper and Pernilla's daughter) stepped on him, Jesper and Pernilla came over to pick up Michaela. Micke was watching Michaela while everyone else was at the hospital, and the twins, Linnea, Helena and I were at the mall.

We decided to have McDonalds since it was late and now we had ANOTHER kid to feed. That was interesting since we were all on bikes. We had to put the McDonald's in our baskets and try and drive straight not to spill the drinks!

Anyway, last night Jesper invited us for dinner tonight, and the twins and I rode our bikes to Pernilla and Jesper's. We had a fantastic meal, good laughs, and coffee. The kids rode back before it got dark, and I rode back a little later and got to try out my pedal powered headlight.

And you know what?

I got home at the same time as Micke and Linnea (Helena took her scooter to the store).

I like to ride my bicycle, I like to ride my bike
