Home again

Home again home again.

I start the new job on Monday, not tomorrow.

Goals for the Week

- I've found myself again swamped with emails, so I am going to make a goal to deal with 100 a day until I am down to 0 again.

- Go to the gym each week day (or make up time on the weekend if I miss). I also want to start a chart to track my progress in losing weight.

- Work on cleaning/chores a little each day.

- Whittle down my task list, which has gotten gigantic.

It'll be a good day

So much to do today. It will be a good day though. I had to drag myself out of bed, but now I am happy that I did.

You know how it is, you wake up feeling gray...

Scott and I laid down in bed this afternoon and I told him I feel like just staying in bed. He was so sweet. He said, what do we have to do today? And I realized there was nothing, save some laundry, and eat dinner, that we absolutely had to do, so it was ok to just lounge. And I felt better.

Tomorrow I think I will set myself a list of tasks. A small list, but still something to keep me going through the day.

We're having a few people over on New Year's Eve, so I want to get the house spiffed up a little for that.

I need to unpack and put away the suitcases.

I also need to do a bit of laundry, and start going through the mail that has piled up since we were away.

Last but not least I have a website to work on for a client.

Doing the chores

I'm really behind on laundry. Scott picked up a ton of slack, and we're getting close to caught up just in time to leave.

Tayler was given the chore to sort the socks and match them.

Tayler matched about ten pairs of socks, and then started asking Tyler to help her. Tyler already helped fold and sort laundry so she didn't want to do another chore.

"Tyler, won't you please help your old buddy out?" Tayler said.

Tyler laughed. Then she said no.

About 5 minutes later Tayler asked again and Tyler didn't answer.

"Tyler?"

"Read my lips," Tyler said and mouthed NO.
