Micke and I took the kids to H & M to find some warmer clothes that fit for the kids as it is a little cooler here than we expected, and apparently rains and is windy a lot.

The kids each picked out four pairs of pants, a few shirts and a fall jacket.

The total for the clothes was 2,400 SEK. Tayler asked how much that was. I said, right now with the exchange rate that would be about $400, so the clothes better last.

And so far, the weather has been rainy and windy. I forget, we are close to the ocean.

I am noticing all sorts of little things that are different here. No refried beans for example. All "foreign" cars instead of American brands. I think I saw one Ford.

Weather.

Really? 194 mph?

The Weather Outside is Frightful

Well it's cold outside. And it's cold in my house! It's freezing in here.

I'm so used to our outrageously weird heating in our last house where it was warm downstairs and cold UPSTAIRS. Now it's just the opposite. I'm sitting in the nook and the floor that we have is FAKE tile so it shouldn't be cold but it is! I have three shirts on and a sweater, and am thinking about a blanket.

It's funny. Usually I'm irritated about putting away winter clothes because I have a lot of them. But then I realize that I have a lot of them because I get cold every winter and wear half of my wardrobe up in a matter of days.

I'm hoping to hang at Nikki's house today. I think adult company will do me good. And maybe keep me on task. Today I just feel like curling up in bed from the cold. But I have lots to do.

Tayler's sick, but she wants to go to school so she can go to Girl Scouts. I am pretty sure she's just getting a cold, so I'm saying ok.

What else trivial and boring can I write about?

Well, I decided to start a different book last night. I decided that the book I was writing was better a separate book than the book about my pregnancy. And now I am realizing how hard it is to write a memoir without being sued. Because I've had some crazy people in my life, and I think they might just do that.
